Tiffany & Co. | Paloma Picasso’s Olive Leaf Drop Earrings

I bought my first pair of earrings from Tiffany & Co. Since I was in pre-school, I’ve had the same gold dangle earrings. Those gold earrings are unique because that style is mostly common in Southeast Asia. One time back in High School, I was taking the city bus and a guy came up to me and asked “Are you one of the twins? Cindy or Wendy?” He told me he went to elementary school with me and recognized me because I still have that same earrings on. I continue to wear those earrings until I finish college. For years, my mom and grandma kept telling my sister and I that it was time for a change, but we were so stubborn, and attached to those earrings that we could never leave the house without it.

A year after graduating, I realized that the earrings no longer suited me or my style. I made the decision to retire my gold dangle earrings of 20+ years, and bought Tiffany & Co. – Paloma Picasso’s Olive Leaf drop earrings in sterling silver with pearls. Pearl earrings are timeless and classy, and it can go with a lot of different outfits. I went with dangle earrings because I am unable to wear stud earrings (sad face). My ear lobes are way too small. The sales associates even had to help me put on the back, but he even had trouble. It’s a sign, I will forever wear dangle earrings.

The size of these earrings is perfect for petites, especially if you have a very small face. It’s lightweight, and the drop length is not long. The pearls are about 8-9 mm. It doesn’t look overwhelming to the face, and gives off a soft, elegant, and subtle look to any outfit. I’ll be wearing these earrings with most of my business casual outfits, and to my best friend’s wedding in June. Most of my dresses are classic style dresses so these earrings are perfect.
