Las Vegas, Nevada

A few days ago, I attended a conference for work. It was long and tiring, but on the last day I finally had a chance to explore a bit. I stayed at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, since the convention was held there. It’s located on the Las Vegas Strip next to Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. It was my first time staying at this hotel, and I have to say that I enjoyed it a lot.

Okay, story time: Like always, upon entering the casino, all the security guards stared me down every time I passed by. At the registration desk for our conference, I was asked if I was my vice president’s daughter. I have to admit we do look-alike. My VP told me to wear heals and makeup the next day to look a little older. She kept asking me if I brought my heels and makeup haha.

The next two photos below were taken at the Bellagio Gardens. Bellagio Hotel is located across the street from Paris Hotel & Casino.

Usually, I don’t like buffets because there’s just way to many options to choose from, and sometimes the food is not so great. My vice president suggested that we try a buffet in Paris hotel called Le Village Buffet, and surprisingly I liked it a lot. It’s about $30 per person. My favorite dish was their pasta, prime rib, and duck a l’orange. There was also a crepe station, which unfortunately, I didn’t get to try because I ended up eating two crème brûlée.

I don’t really have much to say since this trip was mainly for work. It was exhausting, and by the end of day 1, I had a sore throat from talking to so many people. I didn’t get a chance to pay attention to my surroundings until the last night there. Hopefully, I get a chance to go back to Las Vegas again at my own leisure instead of working. Thanks for reading!
