A while back, I started film photography. There was a lot of trial and error, but I enjoyed every moment of it. I hope to continue improving my skills, and learn from my mistakes. Here are some shots from my first roll.

It’s December! December is my favorite month for 3 reasons: 1. Christmas decorations goes up, Christmas, and it’s only a month away from my birthday. At work, the office is already looking festive with the Christmas tree up, and decorations along the walls.

Last week, I had a great Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. Growing up in a traditional Asian family household, I’ve never really had a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Since graduating, I was able to experience it during my company’s Thanksgiving Luncheon. It was a traditional Thanksgiving meal with turkey, ham, roast beef, mash potatoes, stuffing, mac & cheese, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie (my favorite).

On Sunday, we took our dog Chibi to our university campus. We thought it would be nice to give him an extra-long outing, and a bath before Thanksgiving. Chibi is a 4-year-old Maltese, and he’s very photogenic. Super late post, but better late than never. Two weeks ago, my friend asked my sister and I to come over for a small Halloween party – mainly just eating and watching movies while her parents gave out candies to the trick or treaters. I will be cosplaying as Umaru-chan for upcoming conventions in January.

As I’m getting older, I’m learning about the importance of eating healthy and taking care of my body. During my college days, I used to be able to eat A LOT – not exaggerating. Every meal, I ate large portions. And I can’t even explain how my sister and I were able to eat all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ every other week, and eating fast food and instant noodles almost every dinner. Now, I can’t eat as much as I did before. My portions sized decreased, and I’m always leaning towards healthier options. But every now and then, I do have the urge to indulge in something sweet and savory. These are a few of my favorite (healthy & unhealthy) snacks and drinks that I like to purchase at my local Asian market.
